POWER & GRID
Time-to-power · verification · interconnectionPower reality
- ⚠ No public interconnection record for this load — SPP does not publish large-load requests.
- ⚠ No permit record linked to this site yet.
How the time-to-power window was estimated
- From “Under construction”, large loads have typically taken 0.5–2 more years to first power (editorial range; see Methodology).
- Construction to first power typically takes 1.25–2.5 years.
- The window is a range of plausible outcomes under these assumptions, not a forecast. It moves as new filings, queue updates or imagery arrive.

Utility, ISO and nearby assets are derived from the site's location. Proximity to a substation or line doesn't establish the interconnection; that needs a utility filing or interconnection-queue record. Queue requests are applications, not commitments — most never reach operation.

Timeline
- May 19, 2025[1]
Land clearing begins
- Oct 16, 2025[1]
Building 1 and 2 under construction.
- Dec 23, 2025[1]
Construction on Building 1 and 2 looks about halfway to completion. Foundations and utility trenches are visible for Building 3-4. Building 5-6 have an outline. The substation appears to be expanding.
- Apr 16, 2026[1]
Progress is made on all buildings, Building 1 and 2 specically have begun to install cooling structures. The substation expansion seems to be nearing completion.
Building 1 operational. This regulatory document lists the completion date for Building 1 as 2026-09-12, the current status suggests this estimate will not be met. Based on the timeline seen at the Abilene,Texas site for the same building styles and the most recent imaged status, we estimate operability to occur 6 months after the state seen in Sept 2026.
Building 2 operational. The completion date for Building 2 Tenant Improvement is 2026-11-07, about 2 months later than Building 1. We therefore add 2 months to the Building 1 operational date.
6 buildings are operational. This is based on: 1. A regulatory filing for Building 6 with a completion date of 2027-07-30. Normally there is a follow-up filing for "tenant improvement" which involves building the interior, with a completion date 1-3 months after the initial filing. 2. A project deadline of EOY 2027 in the original tax abatement agreement 3. The similar 8-building project in Abilene taking an estimated 2 years and 2 months.
